This Gunfleet 43 came to Fox’s for various refit and repair work in preparation for her owners forthcoming Atlantic crossing, and she left looking like a new boat!
The most dramatic improvement involved replacing all the old perspex windows with new custom-made, toughened and laminated glass windows supplied by marine glazing specialists Trend Marine. These were bonded to the boat as opposed to the usual method of bolting, creating a slick and seamless finish.
Other work included production of a new stainless steel bimini with flexible solar panels and servicing of her rig and sail handling systems. After gelcoat repairs and a full wax and polish she looked stunning for her passage back to her owners home in Europe.
